Just in case you were unsure of WHY this is important, we asked Kenneth, your Marketing Strategist, to shed some light on how to interpret this information and why it is useful for your business. Here is what he said…

“THE REASON WHY DATA IS SO IMPORTANT IS BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU AN ENTRY POINT TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF INTEREST SOMEONE HAS REGARDING YOUR BUSINESS. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU SEE HIGH OPEN RATES AND LOW CLICK RATES, THEY ARE MODERATELY INTERESTED AND IF YOU SEE HIGH OPEN RATES AND HIGH CLICK RATES THEY ARE A HOT PROSPECT/CLIENT.”

He also explained the different categories that you will see in the contact report….

  • SENT IS THE NUMBER OF EMAILS YOU SENT TO THIS PERSON
  • OPEN RATE IS THE NUMBER OF EMAILS THAT THIS PERSON OPENED
  • CLICK RATE IS THE NUMBER OF EMAILS THAT THIS PERSON OPENED WHO THEN CLICK ON THE LINK IN THE EMAIL
  • UNDELIVERED COUNT IS THE NUMBER OF EMAILS THAT BOUNCED FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS

Make sure to thank Kenneth when you see him!
